FAQ

  • How are classes held?

Orientation, classes 1 through 8, and the Day of Practice are all on Zoom. Your daily practice recordings and other content are made available each week, and you decide when is best for you to complete those activities each day.

  • How long are classes and daily practice?

Orientation is usually about an hour and a half. Class 1 and 8 are up to three hours, but the other classes 2 through 7 are 2 1/2 hours. The Day of Practice, our only Sunday session, is about seven hours. It may seem like a lot, but it is over before you know it and most participants not only finish with a sense of accomplishment, but wanting to continue!

  • What happens if I miss a class?

Missing a class when "life happens" is okay, we all run into that sometimes. Missing more may get in the way of you getting credit for completing the course, so check your calendar to make sure you don't have any other commitments during the course!

What Are People Saying?

“My experience taking Ted's Burnout Residency and Mindfulness courses was transformational... It was well organized, well thought out and facilitated. He is about to create a real sense of community, normalize the struggle, and provide practical tools to improve. I highly recommend his programs.”

“When Ted joined the Mindfulness Network Charity as a fellow Trustee, I was immediately impressed by his humble and inclusive approach. He is remarkably kind, knowledgeable and productive. He champions others without contributing to polarised positions — a true mindfulness enthusiast! Ted made an even greater impression when we met in person at the International Conference of Mindfulness in Bangor last month. I’m certain he will continue to improve many lives through his work and compassionate presence.”

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Ted Meissner and can confidently say that he is a remarkable professional in the field of mindfulness and meditation. His commitment to the mindfulness industry is evident in every project he undertakes, and his innovative approach has consistently inspired those around him. Ted is not only a knowledgeable and skilled practitioner but also a compassionate and thoughtful colleague who truly cares about the growth and well-being of others. I highly recommend Ted to anyone looking for a dedicated professional who brings both passion and precision to his work.”

“I wanted to thank you for all of your dedication with the mindfulness and burnout trainings. I took the California Law and Ethics exam and passed using mindfulness! I greatly appreciated all of the encouragement and support in learning and practicing mindfulness skills daily!”

“I both developed programs and facilitated mindfulness programs with Ted Meissner. Mindfulness is not an easy topic to teach or train, but you would not know that by watching Ted. He has a remarkable gift of translating the nebulous and esoteric into something understandable, practical and usable - with healthy doses of compassion, humor and wisdom.”
